In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, a truly interesting bit of information of a peculiar mixtape surfaced. Basically, news of a lost album by DJ R-Anal had came out in the midst if nowhere. DJ R-ANAL is the alias of Rahnell Lambright, infamous biker and electronic producer from Manhattan. Those who are deep into Ghettocorestep probably remember hearing his notorious DJ tag over the years (D D D D DJ R SLASH ANAL ON THA BEAT).
I actually quite enjoyed his early stuff from the late 10s, but he seems to have slowed down after some allegations and personal problems that remain a mystery to Harlemstep fans and bronies alike. This tape has been a vague rumor for a long time now, but only just surfaced as Ali El Tigre and Indiana Fantum, known freestylers and rappers in the East Bronx Avant Ghetto Hop scene, made reference to this bizarre tape.
Apparently it contains dialogue from Rahnell's own family and was supposed to be an oddly transcendental take on friendship. "He held his own mother at gunpoint at one point," said Indiana. "Like, it was kind of mind melting. I see why he's more conventional now, that shit was pretty transgressive, even for us." The title is also speculation that we pieced together from various sources. We'll never know quite when this tape will surface, but with Godspeed You! Black Emperor's infamous demo being discovered, anything is possible.
